The Clocktower

Posting again for the same project.
For right now I'm moving on to the environment aspect of the project.
I used this as the original thumbnail:

I have more sketches than this but it was getting a little out of control. I took a step back and focused on a silhouette/simplified version.

Steampunk Sly Cooper WIP

This is a WIP version of what will be the final version of my Steampunk Sly Cooper project for my Concept Art class. Obviously this is a really messy version, hahaha, it was just to see.
That is going to be his pose for the final piece. Right now I'm just playing with color. I'm limiting the palette to about three colors. Although it's steampunk, so he needs more drab colors, so I'm not sure how colorful to make him. That would probably depend a lot on tone.
I haven't paid attention to his cane in this one, and I'm not sure what his hair/eye color will be. Hmmmm....

Sketch of Mindfang during science class. I didn't have reference for her coat on hand. My friend pulled it up on her phone so I got the gist of it.
Hurr.
Have to fix some things though. Working on a slanted desk isn't effective :x

I actually sent this as a request to join the group. Oh by the way, Madonna is not there because of me. My friend was over and wanted to listen to it.
No judgement, I just don't want to be affiliated :P

Steampunk Sly Cooper

For my concept art class, we had to reinvent a story. The idea was to keep the basic themes and ideas, but we could change anything we wanted.
I took Sly Cooper and redid it in a steampunk setting. For this week, we needed 15 designs of one character and 10 environments. I did a few designs of Sly's cane though, since it's his trademark weapon.

We're spending the next two weeks making a final piece out of it, after, of course, more thumbnails and sketches, hahah.
I'm so excited for this project, I don't even.
